Calldorado Acquires Caller-ID Technology Specialist, Adaffix

Denmark-based Calldorado which specializes in the development of mobile tech announced that it has acquired Austrian company Adaffix. This is Colldarado’s second major acquisition in the space of a year as the company continues to expand its product portfolio. The Austrian-based company specializes in the development of caller ID technology.

Calldorado believes the addition of the company to its network will help the company consolidate its position in the mobile technology market and strengthen its position comprehensively in the booming mobile ecosystem. Adaffix is popularly known for its proprietary NameThatNumber technology which enhances the missed call experience for mobile users. The technology sends the user a notification SMS which includes all the details regarding missed calls including caller details and identification. Calldorado plans to leverage the technology by extending its services to mobile network operators.

Calldorado believes that the acquisition of Adaffix will greatly benefit them owing to the Austrian-based company’s exceptional technical expertise and their vision. Further, Calldorado stated that Adaffix’s NameThatNumber complements the company’s current product offerings and will further aid in bolstering the Danish company’s position in the mobile ecosystem.

Founded in 2016, Calldorado is headquartered in Copenhagen and is aggressively expanding its global outreach through acquisitions. In January 2018, Calldorado bought app publishing firm CIAMedia. CIAMedia gained popularity due to the success of its app acquisition subsidiary Appsbuyout. The Appsbuyout division of CIAMedia acquired new mobile applications with great potential. The company also released a fund of $12 million to support talented app developers and publishing companies.

Calldorado continues to leverage its market reach, knowledge, and insights to support new applications and help them garner a widespread user base. In return, the company derives its profits from the marketing budget of the application. The innovative business model rids developers of financial risks and does not involve giving up the ownership or share of the application. The unique and innovative business model has helped Calldorado extend its reach in the mobile ecosystem.
